WRITER'S STRIKE: It turned out that last week's "offer" to the writers was nothing of interest. The studios tried to offer the writers 1% of their usual fees for Internet rebroadcast, which would be the death knell of good writing in the industry as TV and computers merge. This means that the optimism of last week was vastly premature, and we're going to have a very long writer's strike. I think we can expect TV seasons to start coming to their ends ... well, tonight ... as was threatened when the strike began.
HEROES: The season 2 finale of Heroes is tonight. You can use last week's thread to speculate about what happens, then post about your thoughts on the finale tonight after it broadcasts.

TIN MAN: The Sci-Fi Channel's Tin Man started last night, and will be running through the next couple of days. Pat had some comments on the show that leave me wanting to let it fall off the end of my Tivo, as last year's Earthsea did. Disagree?
